HISTORY
The Hawk were only together for a short period of time, but had gone through several incarnations during their short life.
The Hawk started out as a far different group than is currently assembled. The following are the founding members of the Hawk.

As the Hawk entered its second year of existance, Larry Carter struck a deal with the State of Illinois to make the Hawk a government-authorized organization. With such, another plenthera of recruits came into the group. Around the same time, the older members became sporatic in their attendance, outright quit or worse.

The previous group didn't last very long working for the state as one mistake led to another and the group boardered on imploding in upon itself. It didn't take long until a majority of the groups members left and the new, and current wave of recruits entered. The face of the team is significantly different than when they first started out, but in the end, they still uphold the same principles and protection of the city of Chicago.

Before there was the Hawk, the Windy City Warriors protected Chicago. In essence, the Warriors are the Hawks' ansestors as well as some of their current membership.
For its very brief run, the government-sponsored rebirth of Freedom Force was made up primarily of old members of the Hawk. Since its disbandment, however, they have gone off in their own seperate directions.
