Known Background: Kamala was born in 1921 in New Dehli, India to an Indian mother who died in childbirth. This left her with her British Army officer and Noble father, who proceeded to have her raised by the nanny. Lord Wolfe was tranferred to Southern India (Madras) in 1932, where Kamala learned the martial art of Kalari. Two years later, her father was again transferred to Darjeeling, India. In 1936, she went to Tibet to learn magic. When England got involved in opposing Germany's attempt to expand again, Kamala travelled to her father's homeland to help fight the Nazis, becoming the Silver Sorceress. She fought alongside the Allied Champions until 1943, when she was trapped by Kristoffer in a type of limbo.

Many decades later, when the omnisphere was active on Earth, she was released from her captivity to find the world significantly changed. She worked briefly with the Champions of Justice without joining their ranks, but managed to spark a friendship with the team's other magic-user, Dragon, and his wife Annette. Between that friendship, her discomfort with modern society and the couple's impending childbirth, she agreed to go with them when they decided to leave Earth for Mysteria.

Personality: Kamala is well-mannered and proper (as she was taught to be by her father), but is not snobbish (it's okay if someone isn't as well-mannered as her). She also has a very strong sense of right and wrong, and is angered by those who are bigoted or evil. She does have a slight rebellious streak (learning martial arts and going to Tibet to learn magic weren't fully approved of by her father, for instance). She wants to perfect her magical abilities and improve her fighting skills as much as possible. She is rather awed by the modern world, but doesn't quite "fit in" because she is from an earlier era. Her ordeal with being dimensionally trapped has made her somewhat eccentric.

Powers/Tactics: The Silver Sorceress knows some martial arts (Kalari), but her skill with them is only so-so, as she didn't complete her training with her guru. Her magic is her mainstay, and its flexibility gives her both the potential to be a "frontline" (she does prefer ranged attacks) fighter, or play more of a supporting role.

Appearance: Kamala stands 5 feet, 4 inches tall and weighs 120 Ibs. She is very pretty with slightly wavy black hair, brown eyes and bronze skin.
