Complications:
Relationships - Robert had a very close relationship with his cousin Michael, closer than most brothers, in spite of the geographical distance between them. He was also deeply in love with his fiancee, Cheryl Wood.
Responsibility - Crusader was seen as a modern-day Robin Hood, looking out for the less fortunate of England.
Rivalry - After the disasterous events at Big Ben, the rest of the members of The Vigil (Foul-Weather Jack, ANT, and Reaver) hated Crusader, both for his refusal to participate in the torture and for not getting banished by Valiant like the rest of them.

Crusader was created and designed by Jim Caswell. The character is deceased in the present campaign timeframe.
