Relationships - Carrie loves her father, and feels she is the only person he has left. She resents her half-sister, Dafney, who she has only recently met.
Career Ending Heart-break - Her first foray into the world of super heroics was cut short after she fell in love with Lightning Man, and her father objected. Her son was put up for adoption.
