Complications:
Prejudice - As a ghost, rather than a Jiang Shi, Shan Shan is still undead, and thus usually feared and/or hated.
Weakness - Weapons coated in ectoplasm are usable against Shan Shan in her ghost state, making her tangable to whatever is coated in it.
Loyalty - Shan Shan is a loyal servant of the Ghost Empress.
Vulnerability - Ghosts and spirits have a peculiar weakness to salt. When laid in a fully-enclosed circle, salt can trap them. Likewise, if used as a power descriptor, it adds +2 damage to the attack.

Known Background: Shan Shan had been a servant of the Ghost Empress while she was alive. After her death, her corpse remained animate as a Jiang Shi, and she could call forth her undead spirit act independently. She is very skilled in Kung Fu and also knows much "secret" knowledge. Her spirit has recently been sent on to its final reward; her corpse, though, remains active. Her loyalty to the Ghost Empress ended up being her downfall as, in the end, they were both headed for the same place.

Shan Shan was created and designed by Neil Lindgren. The character is deceased (and dispatched) in the present campaign timeframe.
