Eppard Meadows is a community between Raleigh and Durham, inside North Carolina's "Research Triangle." It was going to be the new headquarters of Drébin Technologies after its takeover of Technological Innovations Now until that deal fell apart. The proposed merger spurred growth in the region, and when it didn't happen the expanding community was hurt economically. This led to a rising crime rate. However, Amalgam Materials has recently purchased the vacant Drébin facility, and, not coincidently, Alloy's Excellent Eight super team has also been founded there.
