Complications:
Disability - Rex Striker was born blind.
Justice - Rex is dedicated to insuring that justice is served in kind, with the punishment fitting the crime.
Friendship - Rex appreciates all that Séamus O'Rourke does for him, from driving him around to helping him fight crime.

Background: Rex Striker was born with the birth defect of blindness. While most people were willing to write him off as a lost cause, expecting nothing better of him than selling pencils on the street, his father stubbornly taught him that there was nothing that any "normal" man could do that Rex couldn't do. He pushed his son to not only achieve, but to succeed in everything. When Rex graduated with honors from high school, he had adopted his father's drive as his own and went on to law school. Once graduated, he took a position in the New Jersey State's Attorney's Office, but quickly found that not everyone was as dedicated to bringing criminals to justice as he was. He found that criminals were getting off due to technicalities or corruption, and that drove him to take matters into his own hands. Having learned from an early age to use his ears to make up for the lack of use in his eyes, Rex quickly mastered arts like boxing and handguns, determined to make the criminals pay.

Years later, after his retirement from being Justice and getting married, Rex's wife had a baby daughter named Gwendolyn. As she grew up during the fifties and sixties, she became a flower child; a fact that irritated her father considerably. With strife in the house, she soon left with friends and travelled across the country. She never spoke to her father again, who died shortly thereafter of heart failure. He never knew that, once in San Francisco, she became a homeless person known to the community only as Wagon Wendy.

Personality: Rex grew up expecting everyone to give as much as he did; in other words, more than 100%. This made him tough on the people around him, including his coworkers and loved ones. When his daughter started getting involved in the "hippy-dippy" movement, he let his displeasure and disappointment show, driving the wedge between father and daughter even further.

Justice is created and designed by Jim Caswell. The character is deceased in the present campaign timeframe.
