Complications:
Obsession - Doctor Powers is determined to learn what makes a parahumans different from normal humans.
No Cost Too Great - Where most scientists shy away from human experimentation, Arnold realizes that it is the only way to find the answers he searches for. As such, he's willing to break a few human eggs to make his omlete.
Relationship - Arnold was high school friends with Rex Richards, who introduced him to ExMan, who served as Power's first test subject on the study of parahuman abilities. Likewise, the Mutants gang that followed them were his first volunteers, leading to the work he does today.
Arrest Warrant - Dr. Powers is wanted by local and federal law enforcement agencies.
