Complications:
Crazy - Madeline embraces being a mad scientist; emphasis on the mad.
Enemy - Madeline hates CREST for firing her for doing her job as the Head of Para-Biological Research. She expected them to stand behind her, even when their volunteers and customers were revealed to be criminals. Instead, they threw her under the bus. So now, she and her new batch of volunteers will make them pay.
Hypocritical - In spite of her willingness to perform para-experimentation on others, Doctor Madnificent refuses to use her skills to transform herself. After all, she's crazy, not stupid.
One of the Greats - Doctor Madnificent doesn't want world power or any of the other tropes. She simply wants to be acknowledged for her evil genius.
Villain Worship - Madeline has long followed the careers of other mad scientists, including Ulysses Shamon, Elaine DuPres, Clayton Vangor, Barbara VanBurren, Erving Carlson and Wu Hu, going so far as to read their research and publications from before they became outlaws.
Arrest Warrant - Dr. Madnificent is wanted by local and federal law enforcement agencies.
