Straight Edge - Joe has never done drugs, alchohol or cigarettes, even before there was a movement against such things.

Secret - Frosty goes to great lengths to hide the fact that he has parahuman abilities and was Mr. Justice.
Reputation - In addition to being known as the current Director of the Office of Parahuman Relations, Joe was the President of the United States, and then Vice-President under Andrew Mahn. Compared to that, the fact that he was director of the Marshals government superteam and a "sidekick" to the Legion of Champions is almost a footnote in his biography.
