Posessed - Berni willingly took on an extra-dimensional entity, picking up many of the princess' personality traits.
Redemption - Berni needs to make ammends for the mistakes she made in the past.
Relationship - Berni knows that Matthew is not actually her brother, in spite of the part of her that feels like he is due to the alien entities that reside in both of them. Therefore, her physical attraction to him feels wrong.
Relationship - The princess is loyal to the royal family and is greatful to be reunited with her twin.
Secret - As a Witch of Northwick Heights, she is dedicated to keeping their community a secret to protect it from outsiders coming in and exploiting the power therein.
Voice of Reason - Berni often finds herself having to "talk down" Matthew from his vengeful instincts. As she didn't have his negative experiences with humans, it is up to her to keep him in check, which is a weird position for Berni - the former angry rebel - to be in.
