BEARERS OF THE DRAGON AMULETS

Before the dragons left the Earth-realm, they embued a part of their essences into amulets and scattered them around the world. The intent was that, if mankind needed dragons in their world again, and if the need was desperate enough to lay lives on the line, then humans would be able to transform into hybrids of the majestic creatures.
