HORTON VALLEY, WISCONSIN

Created by Ken Hallaron

Horton Valley is a village of approximately 400 people in southern Jackson County, Wisconsin, about 30 miles northeast of La Crosse and about 160 miles from the Twin Cities. It's only claim to fame is that Robert Jackson, the man who developed secedetanite seventy years ago, was born there, shortly after the first World War. It has been suggested, but not confirmed, that Jackson was a decendant of the county's founder. Some ten miles outside of Horton Valley, is the secret school of parahumans known as the Radio Ranch.

The entire region, including nearby Minnesota, at lest on Earth-K, has the seasons one would expect for the north central United States. On Earth-A, it is always summertime across the region, and perhaps the world.
