The F.A.S.I. is the government's "official" agency for examining "weird" or dangerous experiments/gadgets/etc., especially those that are already semi-public in nature. With its main office located in Washington D.C. but with branches all over the United States, the organization works in close relations to the P.S.B., with their director often answering directly to the Assistant Deputy of Field Operations, Arthur Slade.
