Background: During the reign of Edward the Confessor, one of the original 13 copies of the Germanicus Manuals was discovered by the royal priests. Not knowing what they had found, they set about translating it, only discovering what they had as they worked. Upon the discovery, they were about to destroy it until one of the acolytes stole it and took refuge in the wilderness. He was supported by the most unlikely of allies; the king's dwarven jester, who he was secretly teaching to read. Therefore, it came as a great surprise to the acolyte when the jester killed him in his sleep and stole the tomes.
Enacting the rituals found within the book and dutifully continuing to translate and distribute it to others, the jester made his deal with Der Nacht to continue his tasks through time, aging very, very slowly. He was present in Salem, Massechusets when good women began getting tried and condemned for witchcraft, hiding as one of the Reverends overseeing the proceeds. His presence continued in time, keeping to the background but relehing in the crimes humanity committed against their fellow man. And when parahumans came into existence, he used his pact to start amassing a new kind of power.
Today, he is known as Tim Tudball, and he is The Oldest Man.
Wagoneer was created and designed by Jim Caswell. He is an NPC.
