Down and Out in Nevada - The Crush Fighters are made up of people who either have hit rock bottom and need money or are out for adventure they can not find in normal society. In either case, they have no problem in breaking a few laws.
Power Loss - The Crush Fighters are only able to get their powers from Doctor Powers' injections, and he giveth and taketh away. They know, though, that every once in a while, he gives powers that stay perminent, so its best to stay on his and his men's good side if they want to keep getting power-ups and/or paid.
