VALKYRIES

Nordic and Germanic myth says they are Odin's (or Wotan's) warrior women, the choosers of the slain. Today they appear as heroic women, fighting alongside other parahuman defenders. They are, in fact, human women channelling mystical energy to transform them into these warrior women. The enchantment is in old Norse, and must be said aloud, often actually being read. The recipient must be a woman of Scandanaian descent; if there are any other requirements, they are presently unknown. It is also unclear how many there can be active at one time.
