Originally the import/export company Armin Iu's Incorporated, the company was purchased from the government after the original CEO diappeared. The new owner transformed it into a research company, focusing on the creation of foodstuffs from synthetic or plant-like substances. Recently, the owner filed for a name change with the German government, transforming it into Nahrung für die Eingliederung ins Leben (Nahrung fürs Leben, or NEL, for short).
