Dude Looks Like A Lady - In spite of the hormone treatments and surgery, Hank still have very femanine qualities that, at one point, made her an attractive woman.
Mid-Transition - Henrietta was born a man, trapped in a woman's body. While he has had some of the surgeries to rectify the situation, he still hasn't gotten the "final installment."
Motivation - At heart, Henrietta is a good person, but he has been told so often how evil he is for what he feels, that he has given in to the perception and decided that, if he's going to be treated as a bad person, he might as well do bad things.
Relationship - Hank has a neice that he loves very much, even though his family won't allow him to see her anymore due to his "life choices."
Strange Bedfellows - Fundamentally, Hank and Jack are on opposite sides of the isle on pretty much everything and are often at odds. In spite of this, however, they work well together, whether they wan to admit it or not.
Surgery is Expensive - Hank is in it for the money.... so he can pay his doctor bills.
Arrest Warrant - Aunt Man is wanted by local and federal law enforcement agencies.
