Known Background: Alex Roscommon was a decent poker player who was trying desperately to turn it into a profession. He had good days and bad days and occasionally lucky days. Then came the fateful day at the Olympic Mahns where, after falling behind to the house, he was approached by a man who said he would pay off Alex's gambling debt if he agreed to test an experimental gambling system. Not seeing where he had anything to loose, Alex agreed. The suit worked wonders, allowing him to not only see the averages of any given situation, but also increased his own natural luck to exponential proportions. Once the testing period was over, however, Alex decided that the suit was too valuable to give up and instead escaped with it. He hasn't returned to Vegas since, instead relocating to Atlantic City. It was there that he met Scarlett Hart and was drawn into the Wild Hearts with promises of fame, fortune and notoriety. He joined the Harts, but lost the right to use the name Ace of Hearts to Redmond, who beat him in a game of Hearts.
