Complications:
Weakness - Red Tide dehydrates when away from water for an extended time, becoming impaired, disabled, then incapacitated before his condition becomes dying. Desiccants accellerates the process. Immersion in water immediately removes all accumulated conditions. Fire and heat-based attacks vs Red Tide get +5 effect.
Vulnerability - Red Tide's senses are very sensitive. Sonic and other sensory attacks vs Red Tide get +5 to the effect.
Reputation - Red Tide is known in some circles as a violent environmentalist because of his indiscriminate slaughters of fisherman, polluters, vacationers.
Responsibility - Some believe Red Tide to be the Prime Minister of the seven seas, answerable only to Morning Tsar. Others know him to be the King of 70% of the Earth's surface. Some day, he and Morning Tsar will be forced to decide which he is.
Therapist - Murray is known for his sexual liasons, and his tendency to take them whether they're desired or not.
Origins - Riptide is unaware that he is one quarter Erylusian; the grandson of his rival, Tritan.
