Complications:
Doing Good - Austin has an exagerated sense of justice.
Hero Worship - Austin wants nothing more than to be looked up to.
Background - Austin managed to go to college on a baseball scholarship. He wasn't good enough to go pro, but even though he wasn't that bright, he managed to (barely) graduate with a bachelors in Astronomy. Soon afterward, though, he saw repeats of the old TV show "Six Million Dollar Man" and, noting the similarity between his and the title character's names, decided that he wanted to become a hero too. Mimicing the Bionic Man's powers as best he could with things he found at the toy store and wearing padding under a red jumpsuit, he set out to make his country safe.
The Sixty-Five Dollar Man was adapted by Jim Caswell, a parody of the character The Six Million Dollar Man from Universal Television. He is an NPC.
